Patents & Intellectual Property

An honest view of our patent portfolio in industrial vision, edge inference, and manufacturing AI — with status labels instead of marketing claims.

Effective date: 2026-04-08

Notice Patent titles below are summarized by category. Specific filing numbers, jurisdictions, and claim text are available to qualified partners under NDA. Status labels reflect the current state of each filing and are updated periodically.

01

Our intellectual property program

Insightek holds a portfolio of 12 patents and patent applications covering our core technical areas: industrial machine vision, edge inference scheduling, on-premise industrial AI, and workflow-aware action understanding for manufacturing lines. Our filings reflect the engineering problems we have solved in real customer deployments — not speculative claims.

We publish category-level summaries below so that customers, partners, and peer companies can understand the shape of our IP without requiring a formal disclosure. For detailed filing numbers, jurisdictions, claim text, and family relationships, we work under NDA with qualified partners.

02

How we use our IP

Defensive posture. Our primary intent in building this portfolio is defensive: to protect our engineering investments, to deter frivolous claims, and to give our customers confidence that the products they adopt today will still be available tomorrow. We do not pursue offensive patent litigation as a business strategy.

Licensing. Where there is mutual commercial interest, we are open to discussing licensing arrangements with partners building complementary products in industrial automation, machine vision, and manufacturing AI. We also welcome cross-licensing conversations with companies whose portfolios touch adjacent areas.

Customer protection. When a customer licenses our product, the license includes the right to operate the product in the field of use described in their agreement, without separate patent concerns from us regarding the patents covering the product itself. Specific language varies by contract — your MSA or SOW will document the exact terms.

Patent list

Category-level summaries of our 12 patents and applications. Each row shows the current status via StatusBadge — granted, pending, or published. We do not use the word "Certified" for patent status because it is not a defined patent status.
